Born in San Francisco and raised in the East Bay Area, I have not only an enthusiasm but also knowledge of Northern California based on reality. My step father was a real estate agent in San Leandro and I got a good grasp of the business from him.

I went to school and married my high school sweetheart in 1966. We traveled for several years as my husband was in the service. I was able to enjoy living in North Carolina for 2 years and Germany for 3. North Carolina we were able to enjoy the privilege of being foster parents to several children at a very young age, that brought about my desire for a large family. Germany brought about my love of sales. I worked for photographer and was able to travel to many parts of the country. What memories that brings!!

I have had the privilege of having my customers become some of my closest friends. I have been able to attend weddings, birth of children(literally in the delivery room), assisting in the buying and selling of homes, helping in the relocation, comforting both in time of divorce and at the time of a loved ones death. I have experienced the pain of divorce of a long time companion. The panic and the unsettled feelings that come with having to begin again. The fear and the joy of new beginnings. Sometimes that involves change in our housing needs, and it's important to have someone that understands where you are in that particular time in your live.

I know that buying or selling a home can be both an overwhelming and emotional experience, and is one of the biggest financial decisions in your life, not something to leave to chance. I have built my business on traditional values, making people and their needs my top priority. I have helped hundreds of customers turn their visions of home into reality.

Knowing big or small, old or new, every home is as diverse as people themselves, dedication and a solid reputation was not enough. I obtained my broker's license in 1988 and have made a continual effort to extend my knowledge in the real estate field.

The real estate market is changing because of increasing cultural interaction between nations, regions, communities, and neighborhoods. We have become a microcosm of the many cultures of the world, and this trend toward increased social diversity will continue. To heighten my awareness of and sensitivity to the social and cultural constituencies of local real estate market I recently received my Certified International Property Specialist Designation. The internet has become a valuable tool for those that want to research the area, job opportunities, cost of living and homes available before they actually make a move. I am a Real Estate Cyberspace Specialist to better help those that are using this as a tool to meet their real estate needs. I finished an E-Pro class to help me be more efficient with my communications with both clients and family in the use of e-mail. This year I went to Hawaii and added the transaction referral certification to help assist my clients in finding an agent where ever they choose to relocate knowing that agent to be qualified to help them make that move as smooth as possible.
